As more and more schools employ smart ID card systems to increase security and efficiency, a Systems Integrator recently partnered with Strike who needed to mount devices safely in a bus and the device’s NFC repeater to be accessible. At Strike, we have developed a NFC Extender for our mounted cradles. We often receive request for the below technologies to be embedded in our mounts:
- NFC Extender
- NFC Repeater
- NFC Patch
- NFC Patch Kit
- NFC Antenna
The Systems Integrator used the NFC to accurately know which students had entered the school bus. Students are to scan their ID card as they enter. This simple and cost-effective system can bring safety, efficiency, and peace of mind for all end-users, primarily for both parents and schools.
Strike developed and embedded NFC antenna that allowed students to access the NFC function of the device from a convenient location on the rear of the cradle. It simplified the setup and allowed the driver to see the screen, whilst students could scan. Click here to watch the demo video.
NFC technology provides the fastest way to communicate between two devices and is more secure and convenient than the older RFID. With Strike’s innovative mounting solutions and NFC combined, a user can easily interact, access relevant information, and perform real-time transactions.
At Strike, we design our products to be both practical and powerful whilst recognising the needs of different industries. Strike Mounts can be used not only in vehicles but in locations where a client would find it beneficial to mount a tablet or a smartphone securely. Industries such as the medical, education, aviation, mining, transport & logistics, retail, payments and taxi industries would all benefit from NFC extenders in mounts.
