Samsung first released the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 this month in Germany. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is the latest and first rugged tablet device equipped with Samsung Dex support.

The Galaxy Tab Active Pro’s upgraded features are designed to provide workflow and mobility solutions to several industries. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro boasts a wider screen with its 10-inch display compared to the Tab Active2’s 8-inch display. Samsung notes that the bigger screen size offers easier data handling. Compared to other rugged tablet devices in the market, the Tab Active Pro comes with an S Pen on the top left corner – providing ease when working with thick gloves.
Samsung has not yet released details about its key tech specifications. However, it was revealed that the tablet device is designed with IP68 protection against dust and water, and its protective cover is created according to US military standard MIL-STD-810G.
