Apple iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max Rumors

Apple is set to release three new smartphones this September. The names of this year’s Apple flagships are not yet confirmed, but there are a lot of speculations that claims the new iPhones will be called the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max.

Rumours reveal that the Apple iPhone XR will have a larger screen compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 8. There are also assumptions that this new iPhone will have features from both the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. This new handset will supposedly have an aluminium build rather than the stainless steel that other iPhones are made of. It will also have an LCD screen instead of the OLED.

Another notable feature that this iPhone is assumed to have is the single lens camera, which is the same as the iPhone 8. However, it supposedly will not have 3D touch, which is a feature that all iPhones have had since the iPhone SE.

These are some of the leaks the tech community has gathered so far. The new iPhone XR is said to be an affordable option for those looking to use the Apple brand, but do not want to break the bank. The new releases are also said to have improved more in the software of the phones with the rollout of iOS 12.

On the other hand, the iPhone XS and XS Max are rumoured to be sporting OLED displays. They are set to bring an updated version of the face recognition feature. Aside from the software upgrades, they are also supposedly going to have a faster wireless charging capability compared to all the iPhones in the past. 9to5mac posted a sneak peak of the two XS versions and claims that these are not mock-ups, but the actual look of the new iPhones.
